NCCo Police say, Robert Hyer accepted more than 26-grand from woman to build a deck and porch , but never finsihed the job. He’s now on the run.
New Castle County Police say, Robert Hyer completed a small portion of the deck at the woman’s home and never returned to her residence to finish the work. Police say, the elderly victim, who lives in Townsend, paid Hyer more than 26-thousand dollars in June to erect a deck and porch on her home. Officers checked Hyer’s home in Middletown and discovered a “for sale” sign on the property. Hyer’s phone had also been disconnected. He may be driving a white 1990 Ford pick up truck with a Delaware license plate of C83020.
